June 5, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Natalie Shelly is teaching a perfect course for budding young makers who want a fun introduction to the world of ceramics! Within this 4 week course, we will explore basic building techniques that get tiny hands moving, making and imagining through clay. In this course, we will explore coiling, pinching, rolling and throwing clay on a pottery wheel. Weekly projects will also include exciting surface design processes, painting with a wide range of colors and hands-on glazing. Adults are encouraged and welcomed to attend each class with their young maker. Come join us and make lasting memories in clay!
Course meets Friday June 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. in the Park Office Ceramic Studio.
$30.00 for Macomb Residents or $42.00 for Non-Residents
